bring items of their own furniture, personalise and select

picnic, birthday party) the Proprietors, as active members
of the family group and as Registered Managers, strive to
nurture the family atmosphere.

Accommodating the resident's choice of menu, as far as
possible from a variety of fresh, healthy British food,
complemented with specialities according to demand.

Assisting in arranging links with family (Facilitated
Telephone Calls, Fax, E-mail, and Internet Connections).

acceptable to each resident to monitor their welfare, and
act as a discreet mentor.

Discouraging patronisation whilst promoting friendly
advice and emotional support when needed.

Providing those residents who so wish it with
personalised stationary and a discreet family postal

Complying with all residents' reasonable requests that
are realistic whilst explaining in detail, and painstakingly
why those that cannot be granted, are denied.

Providing residents with their own key, whilst solely the
Proprietors hold a master key, for emergency use only.

Recognising that mishaps through incontinence are
inevitable and by discretely addressing any soiling without
discomfort, reproach or disclosure.

own source of clothing, and by facilitating choice of
garments and assisting them with visits to their preferred
